The vision of the Council is to be recognized as the premier organization for minority business inclusion in the state of Alabama, as well as a model council for the rest of the nation. The mission of SRMBC is to assist corporations, universities and government agencies to develop business opportunities with certified minority business enterprises.
In carrying out our mission and vision, we will:
Promote equal access for minority businesses to corporate members, universities and governmental agencies.
Promote capabilities of minority entrepreneurs.
Be proactive in assisting minority business with issues that affect them.
Advocate for minority business inclusiveness within the State of Alabama , and surrounding areas.
Identify and utilize all resources available to support and market contract opportunities for our certified suppliers.
Pursue excellence in every aspect of the Council's operation.
